Uzbekistan Plans New International Bus Routes
Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport has announced plans to launch new international bus routes connecting the countries of Central Asia.
Proposed destinations include:
Kazakhstan: Bukhara to Turkestan; Urgench to Aktau; Fergana to Almaty (via Tajikistan)
Tajikistan: Samarkand to Dushanbe; Bukhara to Dushanbe
Kyrgyzstan: Andijan to Osh; Andijan to Jalalabad; Andijan to Arslanbob; Kasansay to Jalalabad; Bukhara to BishkekThe initiative aims to enhance transportation options and boost tourism and trade across the region.
