During the discussion, the parties exchanged views on the current regional and international agenda, and also considered possibilities for establishing the think tank-to-think tank partnership between the two countries.
Amb.Javlon Vakhabov, the Managing Director of the IICA, informed the IIRPS’s experts about the Institute’s activities, its goals and objectives. He also provided detailed information on current cooperation processes in Central Asia and the interaction between regional states within the "CA+" platform.

Prof.Margarita Šešelgytė, the Director of the IIRPS, highlighted the positive dynamics in the development of Uzbekistan-Lithuania cooperation as well as the strengthening of regional partnership and particularly emphasized Uzbekistan’s contribution to shaping a sustainable model of interaction in Central Asia.
According to Prof.Šešelgytė, the active involvement of research and analytical institutions in building mutually beneficial partnership ties plays a key role in this process.
Dr.Konstantinas Adriauskas, associate professor at the IIRPS, emphasized the need to establish sustainable mechanisms of professional cooperation between the think tanks of the two countries.
As priority areas of cooperation, particular emphasis was placed on organizing joint expert discussions and conducting research aimed at identifying prospects for deepening interregional cooperation, primarily in the fields of trade, education, and labor migration.
At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their readiness to expand practical cooperation and implement joint projects, including mutual visits and expert discussions within bilateral cooperation and multilateral platforms.
