During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of Uzbekistan–Jordan relations, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation between the expert and academic communities of the two countries.

Amb. Javlon Vakhabov noted that the state visit of King Abdullah II of Jordan to Uzbekistan in 2025 opened a new chapter in relations between the two countries. For his part, Prof. Hasan Mohammad Hussein Al Momani emphasized his interest in developing direct ties between the leading research institutions of the two countries. In his view, expert dialogue would enable a deeper understanding of the developments taking place in Central Asia and the Middle East, facilitate the exchange of research expertise, and help formulate practical proposals in promising areas of cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to expand practical cooperation between IICA and CSS, including through joint research, expert discussions, and events on issues of mutual interest.
